Appalachian Rehab Center’s goal is to offer superior hospital-based therapy services in a most cost effective manner.  Our focus is on developing your highest reimbursing cost centers.  Avery’s team of therapists and support personnel is educated and trained in customer satisfaction, documentation, marketing, reimbursement maximization, and community education.  The rehabilitation department is headed by a Director of Rehabilitation who is knowledgeable about hospital regulatory standards and who will coordinate with your hospital’s staff to meet these requirements, maintain a high level of quality care and maximize reimbursement in every setting.

Our inpatient rehabilitation programs focus on close coordination with the medical staff and a continuum of care with a goal to transition to outpatient rehabilitation.  Our outpatient rehabilitation programs will complement your hospital’s workers compensation and occupational medicine initiatives.  Appalachian Rehab Center delivers enhanced productivity and program performance utilizing our scheduling, protocol development and productivity training for the therapy staff.  A streamlined appointment and registration process minimizes “no shows” and cancellations.  Patient referrals are managed through a formal community relations plan aimed at members of the community and physicians.  Representing the hospital, our team will establish relationships with staff and area physicians.  We will conduct an ongoing series of community education events.  Specialized programs are developed based on market needs, niche opportunities, and your goals.
